On January 16, 2017, Montessori School Bali opened the doors of its newly completed campus in the Berawa area of Canggu where building designs, inspired by traditional Balinese pavilions, allow children to move freely and learning extends into nature. Large covered verandahs provide space outside the classrooms where children can work while sheltered from sun and heavy tropical rain.
Each feature of this site is designed around the principles of Montessori education in order to enhance the personal development and learning experiences of children. The site now unites all class levels onto one secure campus that can accommodate up to 280 students.
In this dynamic learning environment, facilities and and programmes continue to expand to accommodate the needs, interests and futures of our students. The next new introduction will be an infant community for children up to 3 years of age. Once underway, the class will be open to babies as young as three months who are accompanied by a care-giver and will include an integrated parent education programme.
As students advance and numbers increase, an adolescent community will be introduced that will enable students between 12 and 15 years of age to continue the enriched education that they have become accustomed.
