Extra-curricular options

To accommodate interests that extend beyond the classroom, Montessori School Bali offers a programme of after-school activities for primary children each day. Children can increase their agility, balance and fitness through lessons in Capoeira or explore different artistic mediums while expressing their creativity in a variety of arts and crafts projects. Balinese dancing, choir, soccer and cricket are also currently on offer, with selections varying term by term. For those students who wish to advance their violin skills further, private lessons are also available and can be arranged through our violin instructor.

This year, Year Three preschool students can choose from arts and crafts or a group violin class on two afternoons.

Capoeira, a Brazilian martial art that brings together dance, acrobatics and music is always a favourite activity of children.

Violin is available for children 5 years and older in the extended day programme.

Arts & Crafts

Arts & crafts keep children playfully engaged with hands on activities such as papier-mâché, pottery, sculpture and puppet making.
