Programme Overview

The programmes at Montessori Bali nurture children’s development from 18 months  to 15 years of age, and is complimented by a Baby and Me programme for parents and children under 18 months to attend. Students are guided along individualised learning paths that are aligned with their personal stage of development and method of learning.

The Montessori Bali preschool programme balances children’s emotional, physical and intellectual development, enabling them to advance into the primary level with both confidence and competence. This starts in the toddler programme where children are introduced to concepts in a way that enhances their confidence, self concept and independence. This is enhanced by the preschool programme. At the end of the three-year cycle in the Bali Montessori preschool, children will commonly be familiar with reading, writing, basic mathematics, geography, botany, zoology, music and art.

At the primary level, interpersonal skills are nurtured within a respectful, equitable and co-operative classroom environment that promotes constructive collaboration and teaches conflict resolution using confidence, kindness and compassion. Children entering this intellectual period are presented with a rich academic curriculum that includes geography, science, botany, zoology, history, language, mathematics, science, music and art.
