The School

Taman Kanak-Kanak Montessori Bali is a co-educational, non-denominational school which welcomes children from all nationalities. The yayasan (non-profit organization) was founded in 1998 by Nattalia Sinclaire, an experienced and committed Montessorian, for children as young as two years - eight months. The school now has two preschool classroom environments for three to six year olds, and one lower elementary classroom environment for six to nine year olds. It is our hope to build the school further to accommodate an upper elementary classroom environment for nine to twelve year olds.

The school is located on Jalan Lasmana (Oberoi) in Kerobokan. The two pre-school environments (the Rose Class and the Garden Class) are located on the ground floor, opening onto a beautiful garden for outdoor play and learning. The lower elementary class for six to nine year olds is currently located on the second floor (above the Rose Class) and these older students use the garden for outdoor play, recorder or violin practice, or botany studies.
